Microblading adds ink to the skin with a hand tool lightly on the surface of the skin that adds shape and thickness to a brow. Microblading is beautiful but is also very fragile in some skin & will require more touch ups then the other techniques offered.  It is important to understand that most images of microblading on the internet are taken before they heal. Some clients that have oily skin or are very good healers can heal to more of a textured shadow like look after healed. Permanent Nano Needle Brows are beautiful smooth and long lasting. Old school Permanent brows used to be done in a bold solid line appearance, we do not do that here. We apply our Permanent ink with our state of the art machine in a light natural looking texture called the Powder Brow, Ombre Brow and Nano strokes. Nano strokes look like Microblading But last much longer and is applied in the same pattern as Microblading. Permanent brows last much longer because it goes deeper into the skin with some clients retaining pigment up to 3 years or more. Powder brow looks more like a make up pencil in appearance. Ombre brow is powder brow with a light fade in the front. The Infinity Brow is hair stokes that also have a powder behind the stokes that is done with a machine. The powdering will make the brow look and stay more smooth and consistent. The Infinity hair stokes can be done with either Microblading or Permanent hair stokes.
Not every person holds Mircoblading alone well but you can choose to do our Permanent brow, Powder brows or Infinity brows maybe a better option for cover ups, people over 60 or oily skin. Outcomes of brows depend on your body and how it heals and metabolizes the link. Based on how you heal we can also adjust the technique on the 6 week touch up if needed.

What is the art of Microblading?
Microblading is a new advanced technique of apply of applying semi-permanent tattooed make up that gives you a youthful natural looking eyebrows that are balanced to your face. Here at a Nurses touch we use the most advanced hand needles that only graze the upper level of skin leaving beautiful natural looking hair strokes that look like real hairs after they heal. Based on your skin tone, different colors of the cosmetic pigmentation can be selected to accent your own natural beauty. We will apply hair like strokes and Microshading during your appointment for a fuller look. Our approach is versatile that works for those with little to no hair or an also for those abundance of hair that are looking to have them shaped correctly. In addition, people suffering from hair loss, whether a medical issue (chemotherapy treatment) or any other condition that causes hair loss (aging process), will benefit greatly from Microblading. This process also works for people that want their eyebrows enhanced more an arch, thicker or longer brows, in order to set the framework for your face. All procedures are done in the strictest, cleanest environment. Topical anesthetic numbing agents are used to insure comfort during the procedure. Post care instructions are thoroughly explained and home care supplies are given. Initially, the brows will appear darker but will fade a little in a week. The results can last anywhere from 8 month to 16 months on some people, depending on how dark you want to keep brows and factors such as skin type, sun exposure, the chemicals used in your creams and beauty products which can possibly fade the brow pigment.
We strongly recommend going with the Infinity brow which is Microblading with Permanent Powder backing that last longer but still looks natural.

Permanent Ombre & Powder Brows

Permanent Ombre Brows is gorgeous and it has a full brow look with a soft fade in the front that can be customized for every client. Just like all permanent brow techniques it can be placed over Microblading or used in corrective work. All permanent techniques are more ideal or oily skin, older skin or skin that doesn't hold Microblading as well. Ombre brows could last some clients up to 3 years but the healing process is different for everyone.
Powder Brows are done in the same way but they have a defined shape in the front. Ether round, square, rounded square or diamond shape. all aspects of the brow and shape are customized by individual clients.

The Infinity Brow
We now offer the newest state of the art permanent brow technique on the market, its called Infinity Brow. It is for those looking for a natural look that last longer than Microblading alone. Infinity Brow involves Permanent powder brow applied with our Nano needles. Next there is either Microblading strokes by hand tool or permanent hair strokes applied. Permanent Hair stroke are applied with our new permanent make up machine.
The Nano needle is the smallest needle available on the market and it applies very small strokes in a Microblading like pattern. The Infinity brow can be added to existing Microblading at any touch up appointment. What Happens during the treatment time
   *  Numbing cream will be applied in the beginning and will be reapplied between the Microblading application. You will pick out the shape and color for your new brows.
   *   The time for your 1st  brow treatment regardless of technique you pick is 2 hours, but not to worry the actual Microblading or Permanent is only about 15 minutes of the whole appointments and is done in phases. So you don't need to be prepared to be uncomfortable the whole time.
    *  The most time consuming part of the appointment is the brow mapping. Brow mapping is when precise measurements are taken to show the location of where a correct symmetrical brow should be. From there I will work with you to find the your perfect shape that appeals to you and you facial features. You can even look through a book of brows to see which shape appeals to you.
    *   The New Brows are then drawn on your face with pencil for your approval before any microblading or Permanent make up is done. You will also have an opportunity to view and make any changes you would right before you leave.
****   Microblading and Permanent brows are a minimum 2 part procedure, the 2nd visit is designed to add more detail, smooth out the brow, do any coloration & shape changes that may have been effected during the first healing process. Please be willing to commit to the 2 parts of the process before deciding to undergo the procedure ****.

What to expect after your procedure
As A wound Care Nurse I can tell you that the brows need to be treated as a wound without a band-aid on them. The brows will go through a healing process and will initially swell after the procedure and may be itchy when healing for some people, do not worry this is a natural body response. They skin will then go through a healing process which will cause the initial color to darken after the procedure around 45%. The excess ink that doesn't fit in the scratches or texture will rise to the surface and dry causing it to get darker up to 75% more and later flake off in a few days. The body and healing response is different for each person. The body will not heal perfectly after the 1st appointment which is why the 2nd appointment is need to make adjustments. During the 2nd appointment the ink usually sticks even better since is goes in a lower level of skin and she color and some shape changes can me made at that time as well. I usually recommend starting with a modest shape in the beginning and you can always go bigger later. Microblading & permanent brow healing process and color uptake is different for every patient. The ink application process is only part of the process; How the body heals and metabolizes the ink greatly affects the outcome and final look. Though uncommon some clients may require additional color boosters in order to achieve the desired look. The shape, density of the color and texture can also added to during any touch ups.
                                                                                                Common Questions and answers
Is this a safe procedure?
All our pigments are cosmetic grade, meaning that they are sterilized and purified for cosmetic use. The ingredients used have been approved by the FDA for cosmetic use. Be wary of products that have not met safety standards, including those that contain “vegetable dyes” that are unstable and may change color after time. In addition, all our tools are single-use and discarded after the treatment. Only the highest of sanitation standards are utilized for during the application of the brow. As a Nurse with over 9 years experience I can tell you I value the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

What if I do not hold my ink well?
The biggest variable on how you will turn out is how you will heal.  The skins response to the ink that is implanted is the largest factor the affects the longevity of the brow. There is no way to know in advance to know how your body will react. The body metabolizes the ink and spreads it in the skin. Though very rare, some clients are overly aggressive healers and the body will not hold the ink as desired.  With Microblading about 1 in 15 clients need a touch up before the 8 to 14 months. Permanent Brow styles can last some people up to 3 years. But typically you last longer and longer with each touch up. One of the options if you do not hold Microblading well after the 2nd touch up is to switch to our Permanent brow styles which is more consistent and last longer.

Please be cautious, it is important to know that Texas only requires a tattoo licence to preform Microblading or permanent make-up, being a Registered Nurse I can tell you this leaves a potentially dangerous amount of people that may lack and medical training or experience. The Microblading and Permanent make up market is completely unregulated in the training requirements, definitions of what things are called, how long it last, there are also no regulations of after care or and how the procedure even performed. There is even an online only training available to people to get certified in Microblading (just google it). In addition to all of this, even if someone went through proper training it requires an Artist hand, which is something you have to be born with, which can not be achieved in a couple of classes.  Please do not take any risk with your face or end up another botched person on the News and do your homework on any microblader permanent make up artist and the location it is being conducted.

Correcting Microblading or permanent brows?
This is our specialty, almost a 1/3 of all clients that come to us, come to have older Microblading or permanent brows needing corrected. Unfortunately the market of people doing these brows is unregulated. There is no standard set by a board of people that governs how it is done and how it is to be taken care of. There is no test necessary, they even offer online only training which means they never touch a real person. This leaves a large amount of people that have not been tested or trained properly in order to do such a intricate procedure. In addition, there are zero requirements to have any kind of a medical background in order to do Microblading or Permanent brows. This is why so many people have had a bad experience. But luckily we have had wonderful results being able to correct and balance poor Microblading or Permanent brows. Please send a picture 1st before booking the appointment. The Microblading or Permanent cover up process will still require 2 appointments at the same introductory price, since the new work that will be done during the 1st appointment will still need another layer during the 2nd appointment to stay in the skin properly. Some Microbladed brows can be covered with just new Microblading other cases will benefit from a cover up with our Infinity Brow that last much longer.

Blue, Purple, Green, or pink old Tattoo from another studio? Need Help?
Yes we can more than likely help you. We have special ink that is tattooed back into the skin to help adjust the previous color back to a more natural color. One of the reasons your tattoo from a previous artist turned such an unnatural color is because a lot older or cheap brands of ink have Iron with changes color as it ages. Our ink is of the highest quality and over time it will only lighten and possibly loose some warmth if never touched up but, they will never change unnatural colors such as purple, blue, or green colors. There is never a guarantee on the results or the amount of correction appointments needed because the type and depth of ink that is previously in the skin is unpredictable but we have had great success improving and recreating these brows with clients. A color corrector will be apply at the initial appointment and the brow will be reshaped and designed by you and you will also pick a color of choice you want applied.
